Cliff Lett is Team Associated's President and was responsible for Traxxas’ RC10B2 RC car. Lett's role in the creation of Team Associated is only one part of his long and distinguished career in motorsports. He held many prestigious roles with Team Yamaha and was a part of Rick Johnson's YZ250. He was also involved in product development at Associated where he helped to refine the RC10B2, RC10T and RC10B2 models. He also helped develop the TC3.

Cliff Lett has been racing radio controlled cars since the 1980s. He has won several NORRCA and ROAR National Championships and was named 1991 IFMAR Off Road Electric 4WD World Champion. He is also an engineer and has worked on everything, from SolidWorks to AM radios. His career in RC racing began when he was fourteen years old. He grew up in an era with AM radios.
